Where your work goes live: three destinations

Your own domain, a subdomain we provide, or our blog network. You choose for each order.

Every order is published for you. You choose the destination for each order, and your next order can go somewhere different. None of the options requires you to install, host or maintain anything.

The three destinations

Destination The address you get A good choice when
Your own domain A subdomain of yours, such as offers.yourbrand.com or blog.yourbrand.com You have a domain and want the work under your own name from the first day
A subdomain we provide A working HTTPS address that we set up and host You have no domain yet, or you need a link for a campaign today
Our blog network A place on one of more than 80 topical blogs, each on its own domain You want the piece to sit beside content on your subject and link back to your site

Your own domain

You add one DNS record that we give you. We take care of hosting, the HTTPS certificate and every update from then on. Your existing website is not touched. See Using your own domain or subdomain.

A subdomain we provide

There is nothing to configure. The address is real and secure, so you can put it on ads, email signatures and business cards straight away. When you are ready, we move the work to your own address with redirects, so nothing you have shared is lost.

Our blog network

We run these blogs ourselves and match your piece to a fitting blog and category. See The blog network.

Which services can go where

  • Growth Pages can go to any of the three.
  • Blog articles go to the blog network or to your own dedicated blog. You choose on the order form.
  • A dedicated blog lives on a subdomain we provide or on your own subdomain.
  • The free start publishes the page on a subdomain we provide and the article on the blog network.

Not sure which to pick?

Say so in your brief and we will recommend one. Moving later is always possible.

If your main website is managed by an agency or a developer and changes take time, a separate subdomain avoids that queue. The Growth Page or blog sits on its own address, and nothing on your main site has to be edited.

Who controls what

  • On your own domain, the work sits on your address.
  • Work on a subdomain we provide, or on the network, is hosted on our infrastructure and stays under our operational control. We may move or maintain those sites as needed. We keep your published links working, or supply replacements where that is not possible.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Brief maintenance interruptions can occur.

Every live URL, whichever destination it went to, is listed in your delivery report. See Reading your delivery report.
