When you order articles and choose "On our blog network", they are published on blogs that we run ourselves. This article explains what that means, plainly.
What the network is
It is more than 80 blogs, each on its own separate domain and each covering a subject area. We operate them. They are not magazine placements, and we do not pitch your article to strangers.
Because we run the blogs, three things follow:
- we control the quality of the posts around yours
- nobody edits your link out later
- the article stays online, because we keep the blogs online
How your article is matched
The research for every article ends with a choice of blog and category. An article about villa waterproofing sits with other property maintenance and trade content, not between recipes and phone reviews. An article about company formation sits on a business blog.
What happens when you order a batch
The articles are spread across the blogs that fit your subject. Your links then come from several distinct sites rather than from one address repeated twelve times.
Your link
Tell us which page you want mentioned and we link to it naturally inside the article. If you have a preferred anchor text, send the exact wording. See Choosing topics, keywords, links and publishing pace.
If your niche does not fit
If you are not sure the network covers your field, reply to your order confirmation before paying, or ask support first. A person answers within about one business day. If nothing honestly fits, we say so and suggest an alternative, which may be a dedicated blog of your own. We would rather lose the order than place your article somewhere absurd.
Hosting, ownership and how long it stays
- A network article lives on a blog we host, and it stays there. There is no recurring fee to keep it live.
- You own the writing and can ask for a copy at any time. See Who owns the content.
- We keep the right to go on hosting the published copy, so the links you were given keep working.
- Network sites remain under our operational control. We may move, re-address or maintain them when needed. If we do, we keep your published links working, or supply replacements where that is not possible.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Short maintenance interruptions can happen.
Network or your own blog?
| Blog network | Dedicated blog | |
|---|---|---|
| Who owns the site | We do | It is your asset |
| What you get | Articles on topical blogs that link to your site | One address where all your articles collect |
| Setup on your side | None | None, or one DNS record for your own domain |
| Price | $15 per article | $94 for the first year, then $15 per extra article |
Many customers use both: network articles for reach, and a dedicated blog as the home base those articles point to.
