A dedicated blog is a complete blog that belongs to you: your topic, your name on it, one address where everything we write for you is collected. We build it, host it and keep it running. You never have to log in to it.

How it differs from network articles

With network articles, blogs that we run link to your website. With a dedicated blog, the blog itself is one of your assets. It continues to exist between orders, and every article you add later goes to the same place. See The blog network for the comparison.

What the $94 first year covers

The build

  • Design, structure and categories set up for your topic
  • An HTTPS certificate and security hardening from the first day
  • Twelve months of hosting, automatic backups and uptime monitoring
  • A subdomain that we provide, or your own address such as blog.yourbrand.com

Three launch articles, so the blog does not open empty. Each one is researched, planned around a keyword, linked internally, included in the sitemap, submitted to search engines and passed through the quality checks.

The handover. A delivery report with your live address, every live URL, the title of each article and the search topic it was written for. See Reading your delivery report.

You do not need to buy hosting or a domain first. No separate hosting bill, certificate renewal or maintenance fee arrives later. All of that is inside the yearly price.

What to put in the brief

The order form asks what the blog should be called, which address you would like and which topics it should cover. A training centre might call its blog "Career Notes", place it at blog.yourcentre.com and ask for topics about professional certificates.

Adding articles later

The three launch articles are the starting point. After that, the blog grows only when you ask:

  • Order blog articles at $15 each, or in packs for less
  • On the order form, under "Where should the articles be published?", choose On my own dedicated blog

Each new article gets the same research and the same checks, is linked to the earlier ones and is added to the sitemap. Months of silence cost nothing extra.

Your own address

You can launch on a subdomain that we provide and move to your own domain whenever you like, with redirects. Or you can start on your own subdomain from day one by adding a single DNS record. See Using your own domain or subdomain.

Service levels

Standard is the full service. Pro (+$69) adds draft approval, faster publishing and a client-ready summary. Complete (+$109) adds a named author profile with a short bio and a white-label report. See Standard, Pro or Complete.

After twelve months

Keeping the blog costs $94 a year, and that payment is never taken automatically. See Dedicated blog renewal, and what happens if you stop.
