Quality checks before anything is published

The five automated checks every piece must pass, the wider checklist, and what happens when a piece fails.

Work is not published just because it has been written. Every Growth Page and every article, paid or free, has to pass an automated review first. We call it the QA gate, and it cannot be skipped by us or by anyone else.

The five automated checks

Check What it confirms
Everything loads Every link resolves and every image renders. No dead buttons, no broken artwork.
Everything is readable Text is measured for proper colour contrast, on phone and on desktop.
Search engines can parse it The structured markup is present and valid.
The brand is right Names, colours, offers and details match your brief.
Claims trace to a source Every factual statement comes from somewhere real, usually your brief. No invented numbers.

The wider checklist

The samples page publishes the full list that each piece passes before it is released:

  • It is written to the brief you approved: scope, audience and keyword all match
  • It reads as original work in your voice, not as a spun or padded template
  • Title, description and headings are present, unique and the right length
  • Every internal and external link resolves
  • Images and formatting display correctly on phone and desktop
  • The page is reachable, is in the sitemap and has been submitted to search engines
  • It is published on the destination you chose, with HTTPS working

When a piece fails

It returns to production with the failure attached, is fixed, and goes through the checks again until every one passes. For you, that means:

  • you never see the failed version
  • you are not asked to find or fix the problem
  • the price does not change because we had to try twice
  • the delivery date we agreed is still the date we work to

There is no "mostly passed". A piece is either through the gate or still in production.

When a piece passes

On Standard it is published to your chosen destination straight away. On Pro and Complete it comes to you for approval first. In both cases the live URL then appears in your delivery report. See Reading your delivery report.

What the gate does not do

The checks confirm that the work is complete, correct against your brief and technically sound. They cannot know that a fact in your brief is out of date. If your prices, licence details or opening hours have changed, tell us. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the facts you give us.

The gate also does not decide how search engines rank a page. See Rankings, traffic and leads: what we do not promise.

If something slips through

If you notice a mistake after delivery, such as a wrong fact, the wrong tone or a claim you never made, tell us and we fix it at no charge. See Corrections, revisions and refunds.
