The delivery report, its PDF and the plain list of links

A web report with every live link, the same report as a PDF, and a plain list of links. What each contains and how to use them.

When an order is delivered, you receive a delivery report: the record of what was published and where. It comes in three formats, and the report link is issued without an expiry date, so it still works when you need it months later.

Three formats

  • The web report. A page that opens in any browser, with every published article and page and its live link. You can forward it to a colleague, a manager or a client.
  • The PDF. The same report as a file, for your records or to attach to an email. Open the web report and choose Download PDF.
  • The plain list of links. Every live link in the order, one per line, ready to paste into a spreadsheet or a message. Open the web report and choose Plain list of links. Its address ends in /links.txt.

What the web report shows

  • The order reference and the date the report was prepared
  • How many pages and articles the order delivered
  • Each sales page: its headline, what it is built to achieve, a Live or Draft label, its live link, and a preview image when one is available
  • Each article: its title, the search topic it was written for, whether it went to a blog in our network (labelled "Shared blog") or to your dedicated blog, and a link to read it live
  • Your dedicated blog, if the order included one: its address and status
  • A link to the enquiries collected by the order's sales pages

If an article in the order is not live yet, for example in a large pack published on a schedule, the report shows its status instead of a link.

What the plain list contains

The first line names the report and gives the order reference. After that come the live links, one per line: the sales pages, the articles that are published, and the dedicated blog if there is one. An article that is not live yet is left out, and joins the list once it has an address. If nothing has been published yet, the list says so.

How to use the report

  • Check the work. Open each link. If something does not match the brief you confirmed, write to mail@seovider.com with the link and what is wrong. See Corrections after delivery.
  • Keep a record. Save the PDF with your order records.
  • Pass it on. Forward the web report or the PDF to anyone who needs to see what was delivered. Agencies can forward it to their own clients.
  • Track the links. Paste the plain list into the tool or spreadsheet you use.

Anyone you forward the report link to can open the report. Forward it to the people who should see it, and nowhere public.

Finding a report again

Your delivery reports are listed in the client portal. See The client portal. If you cannot find a report, write to mail@seovider.com from the email address you ordered with.

What the report is, and is not

The report is proof of delivery: the pieces, where they were published, and their live links. It is not a promise of rankings or traffic, which no one can honestly make.
