The brief is yours. You can direct every detail, or leave the planning to us. Both cost the same.
What you can specify
Add these in the "Tell us about it" box on the order form:
- Topics: the questions or subjects you want covered.
- Keywords: the terms you want each article targeted to.
- Pages to link: the URLs on your site the articles should mention.
- Anchor text: the exact wording of each link, if you have a preference.
- No-go list: anything we must not say, claim or mention.
- Key facts: product details, prices or claims you want included accurately.
We follow it.
Or send just your niche
Tell us your niche and how many articles you want, and we plan the topics and keywords for you in the research pass.
Tips for a good article brief
- Give one URL per link and its anchor text, for example
https://yourbrand.com/emergency-plumbingwith the anchor "emergency plumber in Leeds". - Be specific about your audience. "Small-business owners choosing accounting software" is better than "business people".
- Ordering a batch? Mention pacing if you want articles spread over time. See Publishing a batch over days or weeks.
Changing direction between batches
Brief each batch as you go, with new topics, new keywords or new things to avoid.
If an article gets something wrong
A wrong fact, the wrong tone or a claim you never made is fixed free. See Something is wrong: corrections and revisions.
